KateKate Middleton and Prince William first came to know each other in 2001 as both were students of St. Andrews. According to legends, Prince William met Kate Middleton at a fashion show where she wore transparent clothing which caught his attention. After 2003, the two had started dating. Middleton had been a roommate with Prince William in their second year at St. Andrews. Kate Middleton was subject to the media's ire during this time. It led to a myriad of people threatening legal prosecution against Kate Middleton, as the family members who were her lawyer. In 2007, Kate and William had a breakup in a reason that was not known. While rumors circulated soon afterward, it was believed that they had been reunited.
