Bellamy Young
Young started her career as an actress in the theater. Young made her Broadway debut on Broadway in the year 1997 with Mary who was the very first actress of The Life. She also performed Off-Broadway, in Stephen Sondheim's musical Merrily We Rolled Along (1994) along with as Randy Newman's Faust (from 1995-96). She made her first appearance on television in 1995, playing Dr. Courtney Evans. She appeared in Law & Order as a guest actor in two roles in 1997 and in 1998. In film, she made her debut in 1999. Her debut film was an uncredited role on Black and White. In the years following, she appeared in numerous independent films. Early in the 2000s, Young started to appear as an actor on number of television dramas and comedy shows like The Drew Carey Show and The X Files. Between 2000 until the year 2011, Young appeared in over thirty television shows. In 2003, Young was cast as an actor on the USA Network show Peacemakers. After nine episodes of a season, the show was cancelled. She played Deputy Dist. on The Lifetime series For the People. Atty. Agnes Hunt, NBC's Scrubs, as The Dr. Grace Miller, NBC's Scrubs with Monica West (CSI: Miami 2005-2006) and ABC's Dirty Sexy Money, as Ellen Darling (the eldest in-law daughter of the Darlings) and CBS's CSI: Miami, as Monica West (assistant state attorney). Between 2011 and 2013 she played Beth Clemmons in Criminal Minds.
